Inventive-Step, Ltd. was founded by Chaim Stepelman, a licensed Israeli Patent Attorney who has been working in the field of Intellectual Property since 2003.  Before leaving to start Inventive-Step, Chaim worked at one of Israel’s largest Patent Attorney firms, where he performed searches and drafted patent applications in a wide range of technological fields, including medical instrumentation, military technology, agricultural systems, electronics, computer and internet applications, and household devices.  Chaim’s clientele included well known and leading companies as well as individual inventors.  To that end, Chaim has vast experience in patenting complex inventions as well as small gadgets and gizmos.

Chaim has personally advised numerous clients in understanding the patenting process, from A to Z, in a simple and comprehensive manner.  Chaim’s experience in dealing with inventions from a wide range of technological fields enables him to focus on the fundamental elements of each invention to perform directed searches and draft broad patent applications, which concentrate on the heart of the invention.

Chaim is a native English speaker.  This is a vital prerequisite for conducting thorough patent searches, which require knowledge of appropriate keywords and their lesser known and used synonyms.  He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and utilizes his technical vocabulary to broaden patent searches and to find obscurely drafted patents which may have otherwise gone undiscovered.
