Answer: The OCS is a branch of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor and, among other programs, provides support for starting entrepreneurs. This support is intended for inventors, entrepreneurs and start-up companies during the initial phase toward the realization of their ideas. According to the regulations provided by the OCS, one must complete and submit a form clearly defining the project, including expectations in terms of cost, market, etc. The applicant must describe the manner in which he determined that his project does not infringe on existing rights of others. A certified search report provided by a licensed Patent Attorney can fulfill this criterion. Inventive-Step, Ltd. will provide you with a certified search report recognized by the OSC.
