Search Report – Conditions
When reviewing the results of the search report the following important considerations must be taken into account:
-This search performed by Inventive-Step is a preliminary search only, carried out in computerized databases. Under no circumstances should the results of the search provided herein be considered to be exhaustive or complete, nor are they intended to be interpreted as providing more than preliminary indicative results.
-The search is based on information found in databases, which is sometimes incomplete and can even be wrong. There is no way to ensure that all the existing references have been found in the search. Additionally, the information in the databases is updated frequently, or even daily, and therefore the results of the search are valid only at the time the search has been carried out, and must be updated before they are used at future times.
-The search is limited, according to the subject being investigated, to specific databases, and the years being searched. When reviewing the results of the search it is important to note which databases have and which have not been searched, and which periods are included in the search.
-It is recommended, in order to increase the degree of certainty of the results of a search, to order updated and expanded searches from searching organizations which have access to extensive non-patent documentation, as well as to documentation which may not be easily found in on-line searches.
-The results of the search are either selected (providing only results which appear to be of interest), or are given in full (including search strategy, search stages, etc.), depending on the length of the output and the matter at hand. If you have received only selected results and wish to receive a full printout, please request it immediately, since full searches are not stored for long periods of time and may not be available if more than two months have passed from the date of the search.
Search Report - Order Form
Inventive-Step is committed to providing the search results within 7 -10 business days of receiving the Order Form. The order form must be legible and contain the description of a patentable invention. If the description is deemed by Inventive-Step to be either illegible or unclear, insufficiently descriptive, or describes an invention that is not considered either patentable or searchable, Inventive-Step will take reasonable steps to contact the user who submitted the order form to clarify matters. In the event that Inventive-Step requires contacting the user, the 7 -10 day period begins only once matters have been fully clarified.
Moreover, the 7 - 10 day period is subject to change pending internet service disruptions or technical difficulties, whether in the control of or out of the control of Inventive-Step.
A Standard Patent Search is understood to be a patent search for an inventive concept or idea, or for an invention in its initial stage of development. A specific embodiment of a developed invention may be considered to be an Advanced Patent Search (depending on the estimated additional time that would be required to perform the search) and may not be subject to the same rate as a Standard Patent Search.
Meetings
Meeting scheduled more than 24 hours in advance require attendance of all parties scheduled to attend. If cancellation by the user less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting time occurs, Inventive-Step reserves the right to demand payment and fees for losses incurred thereby.
Links on Site
On Inventive-Step.co.il you will find links and references to legal web sites and legal information on the Internet. Bear in mind that such sites and information are not made available by Site Manager, and Site Manager does not control or supervise them. Links to legal sites and information do not attest to their having been screened and found reliable, up-to-date, complete, or accurate. Furthermore, sites and information change and are updated frequently, whether due to legal innovations (especially in the dynamic areas covered by Inventive-Step.co.il) or to the ongoing changes typical of the Internet.
